A rare find in the Alps, this superbly restored property dating from 1781 offers the discerning skier a wonderful mountain lodge whilst also offering an impressive array of eco credentials to satisfy even the most environmentally conscious amongst us. Finished to a very high standard, chalet Eco Farm can be counted as one of only a handful of authentic farmhouses in the Chamonix valley available for rental. Located in the charming village of Les Houches, just a couples of minutes walk to the Bellevue ski lifts, with several delightful restaurants, local Boulangerie and shops nearby and only a short drive from Chamonix town and the other ski areas of the Chamonix valley.

From the outset our aim was to create a superbly stylish property (notice we haven't used the word 'luxury', that old cliché!)
Our chalet has not just been re-built but hand-crafted. We've used reclaimed wood and the original panels throughout and have used grey Italian slate and granite in the kitchen. Some of the furniture is hand built or sourced from local Antique shops! For comfort we have installed under-floor geothermic heating throughout, overlaid with solid oak flooring.

The main living area is open plan and double aspect, with the roof structure exposed. Enormous Velux windows let the day light flood in.
Our luxurious Italian leather sofa's offer comfy seating around the fireplace and our dining area with an impressive hand-made dining table and oak chairs is perfect for 10 guests.

Our bedrooms have been equipped with supremely comfortable hotel standard Superking and Kingsize zip lock divan beds (which make excellent twins) and we have supplied crisp white Organic Egyptian bed linen and goose feather duvets making the bedrooms warm and cosy.

Eco lodge apartments are next door offering flexible accommodation formula's especially for groups seeking single rooms.

More Information

There is a  6 x 2.2m long exterior swim spa hot tub (available 16hrs-20hrs)  and sauna. Enjoy an evening of well-being and combine these facilities with an aromatherapy massage or session with a personal trainer who will come to the chalet.

Our excellent concierge service ensures that pre-booked ski passes and equipment are delivered direct to the chalet. We include a cleaning maid on alternate days of your holiday, can shop in advance for your group and beds will be made up before your arrival. Bath towels, Aveda bathroom products, bathrobes and 'crocs'  for the Swimspa are also supplied.

Private parking for 2 cars in front of the chalet.     8-10 mins by car to Chamonix town.

Chalet Eco Farm comprises of the top two floors of the farmhouse with over 200m2 of living space

• Bedroom 4: Kingsize or twin 80x190 with ensuite shower/wc  (slightly smaller room, can also be single)
• Sauna
• Underfloor heating throughout this level
• Fireplace, plasma TV with Free-view UK Sky, Wi-Fi, music system with Ipod connection
• Handmade dining table with seating for 10-12
• Laundry room, hairdryers supplied
• Travel cot and high chair on request
• Wii on request

A Large balcony runs along the North aspect of the building.

In this chalet only we include towels, bath robes and a maid service alternative days.

Chalet weekends are available for 4 nights from Wed to Sunday or Thursday to Monday

Location: Les Houches - 8-10 minutes drive to Chamonix town.

Chalet Eco farm is adjacent to Eco lodge apartments, if we combine units we can offer 9 bedrooms in total.

The ground floor of the chalet is occupied by Huski owners.

Eco-Farm Studio

Located on the ground floor of the farm, the Eco farm studio is offered as your luggage storage area and place to shower on changeover days. In the summer we equip the studio with a massage bed and can offer a private space for our trained therapists and masseurs to come and treat you after a long hike or mountain bike ride!

The studio is 19m2 with a double sofa bed, kitchenette (with fridge, oven, microwave and gas top) and ensuite shower/wc tiled with gorgeous Italian limestone tiles and solid oak flooring.
