This is a beautifully finished property of approx. 200m of living space decorated in the Savoyard style. The French owners of the chalet have created a home of comfort and charm and this coupled with the mountain location make’s this a hidden gem of a property nestling amongst the pine trees on the outskirts of Argentiere ski village. Just 5 mins away are the famous Grand Montets ski lifts offering fantastic on or off-piste possibilities whilst in the opposite direction are the lifts of Le Tour with great skiing for beginners and intermediates alike. The ski village of Argentiere provides all the amenities you need locally plus some excellent restaurants, a thriving nightlife and yet 20 mins by car you can be in Chamonix’s town centre.
More Information This chalet is particularly suitable for those guests who enjoy a peaceful and quiet setting for their holiday. The chalet is located at Le Planet and reached by a long private driveway for which a 4x4 vehicle or a car with snow chains in best during the snowy winter months. The bedrooms have a simple, tasteful décor. Those on the ground floor open on the garden and all have gorgeous views of the Argentiere peaks and the forest whilst the bathroom facilities are finished to a high standard. The chalet has been officially graded as 4 star! The living room is open-plan with the large American style kitchen offering all you would expect from a good quality property; dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. The wooden cupboards house all the crockery and utensils you will need so bring your favourite cook-book! There is a large rustic open-fireplace with glass fronted wood burner whilst the antique furniture and wooden floor in this room creates a homely and charming atmosphere. There are two 3 seater sofa’s for relaxing and a dining table and chairs, large groups will need to add a table. There is a balcony off this area which provides the perfect spot for après ski or just popping out to admire the views! Located next to the garage is a very large laundry/drying room offering storage for your ski equipment and extra closet space. There are 2 shower rooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 wc in total. All the bathroom facilities have been constructed using modern pine and textured tiles giving them a modern and clean finish. Amenities include 30" Plasma TV, DVD, Internet and CD player. Location Le Planet, outskirts of Argentiere Village Other points of interest To access the chalet there is a long driveway which necessitates the need for a 4x4 vehicle. The road leading to the chalet is regularly de-neiged by the local commune. There are two off-road parking spaces at the start of the driveway if you don’t want to take your car to the door.. Staff live-out. Floor area in the region of 195m2.
