Payment of Deposits and Balance:
The holiday deposit for any accommodation including
any pre-payments made for ancillary services such as
a hotel is non-refundable. The holiday balance is
due 10 weeks before departure. Balance payments for
peak weeks are requested 12 weeks prior to
departure. Failure to pay the
balance by this time may result in the cancellation
of your holiday and cancellation charges will be
applied. Credit card balances are subject to a 1.6%
processing fee. Debit cards, deposits and cheque
payments are not subject to any processing fees. Sorry but
we do not accept Amex. Bookings made within 8 weeks
of departure are subject to full payment at time of reservation.
Balance payments for group bookings are accepted
only as single payments. If multiple balance
payments are made we reserve the right to charge an
administration fee to the customer.
Insurance:
It is a condition of booking that all clients
have adequate ski insurance. When you agree to
our terms and conditions (by completing our booking
form or by booking a holiday verbally or in writing,
or by email) you are in effect agreeing to insuring
that you will be adequately covered for your ski
holiday and skiing. This ski insurance should be
from a reputable company providing at least the same
amount of cover as the insurance advertised on
www.huski.com.
We recommend that you contact Micheal Pettifer
on www.mpibrokers.com/ 01428
664265 who offer excellent ski cover including off-piste skiing.
Skiing with Huski:
Clients are asked not to ski on or off-piste with
Huski staff as they are neither insured nor
qualified to do so. If you ski with a representative
of Huski whether on an organised session or not, (as
part of a group with UIAGM guides or qualified
instructors) Huski cannot take responsibilities for
any injuries however caused. At all times clients
must use their own judgements based on their own
ability, and skiing is at your/their own risk. Huski
does not offer a ski hosting service. Huski accepts
no liability should you choose to ignore this
request. Huski recommend the hire of a UIAGM
mountain guide for any off-piste trips.
Complaints by guests:
In spite of Huski's best efforts, occasionally
problems do arise. If you are unhappy about any
aspect of Huski's arrangements whilst on holiday,
you must address your complaint immediately, in
-resort, to Huski (Tim or Gaby Newman) or their
Resort Manager, and also if applicable to the
management of the hotel or other supplier whose
services are involved. Huski will use their best
efforts to resolve any problems immediately. In
addition, if you wish to make a written complaint
full details must be sent to our Surrey address,
by Recorded Delivery within 28 days of your return
to the UK. However, we must have notification in
resort of any complaints. Failure to take either of
these steps will deny Huski the opportunity to
resolve the problem locally or investigate it
properly. In consequence, any right to compensation
you may have will be extinguished or at the very
least, substantially reduced. Huski resort staff are
not authorised to promise any compensations or
refunds.
Travel:
All holidays exclude flights. Catered chalet
holidays can include
transfers or return ferry tickets based on 4 Pax per
car with Sea France, Dover-Calais only or crossings
with Speed Ferries Dover-Boulogne.. Huski do not
accept any responsibility for the errors of these
services/parties. Any claims must be made to the
appropriate principal. All UK Nationals will require
a valid (min 3 months) passport.
Transfers:
Please note that for group bookings we need the
whole party to arrive at Geneva airport and depart at the same time.
If this is not possible we will need to enlist the help of a local
transport agency and you will be charged a
supplement of approx £15 pp each way.
Sometimes our airport transfers are contracted to a specialist local agency. Transfers may be shared unless one group books an 8 seater to themselves. Maximum waiting time at the airport is
40mins. The drivers are all English speaking and will
usually deliver guests and luggage direct to your door or we'll collect you from
the drop-off point! Please note departure times are 3hrs prior to your flight departure
from your accommodation.
Any booked transfers that are made on customers
behalf or at a customers request with any carriers
(other than Huski) are subject to full payment (and
non-refunable in the case of a new booking) if
cancelled, for whatever reason, within 7 days of
your dates of travel. Our apologies but this is the
system operated by most of the transfer agencies and
it is not a Huski policy!
In some rare instances Single skiers (or couples) requiring
transfers will need to fit in with the timings of other flights and transfers
and this may necessitate a wait of up to 60mins. Please note you will be advised
well in advance if this is necessary. Please note we are happy for all guests to
make their own arrangements to the resort and discount all holidays by £30 for
independent travel!
Prices:
Any surcharges imposed by Government levies, tax,
fuel increases; Huski will absorb first 2%. If the
increase is more than 10% overall you will be
entitled to cancel with a full refund less any
payments made on your behalf for hotel, deposits,
ski lessons etc. Please note that prices listed on
our web site for Skipass are based on 0.70 €/£ exchange
rate. All skipasses bought in resort by Debit card
or included in your holiday will be based on
the Thomas Cook Tourist exchange rate at the time of
booking.
Passes bought using credit cards will incur a
processing fee of 1.6% so it is best to pay be Debit
card as no fee is charged. Sorry but we do not accept Amex for
any transactions.
Resort Vehicles:
In the event of bad weather, breakdown, illness,
accident, Huski cannot guarantee that the resort
vehicles will be available to transport guests
around the resort. The Chamonix valley has an
adequate public bus system. The in-resort 'minibus'
service (can include other vehicle types such as
Landover 110) is a gratuitous service and any client
travelling in a resort vehicle does so at his or her
own risk. Priority use of the Huski 'minibuses' are
given to clients who have flown to Chamonix and are
staying in a catered chalet. 'Minibuses' are usually
7 or 8 passenger seaters. No 'minibus' service is offered
between 10:30am and 15:30 daily or after midnight.
SC chalets do not include a
'minibus' service unless the Plus package is booked. Self-drive guests are expected to
make use of their own transport where possible.
Although evening trips in catered chalets are
offered to all guests.
Please note that we have a limited number of
minibuses and during busy times we may need to offer
double trips in for our guests.

Many services included in the overall holiday
arrangements such as coach transport, airport
transfers, or skiing courses are performed by
independent organisations over whom Huski have no
control and any claims must be made to the
appropriate principal and not to Huski.
Clients responsibilities:
Huski will accept no responsibility for the actions
of its clients and reserves the right to terminate
the accommodation arrangements of a client who mis-behaves
in such a manner to be detrimental to other clients

resort. After verification of your property at the end of your stay,
