Improve Your Technique - Ski with PRESTIGE
No-one likes to admit they might need a ski or snowboard lesson during their holiday but the results with your skiing can be so dramatic that we find our guests booking lessons for the rest of the week! We work with a small private ski school run by Oli Rosenburg and renowned instructor Theirry Chibou, Ski Prestige. Ski Prestige are more than a ski school, they are outdoor specialists and utilise the skills of their top level instructors to the max. 'Lessons' do not have to be lessons at all. Skiing with an instructor can be a fast, furious morning or afternoon carving up the powder off-piste, or hitting those bumps you've always avoided, with maybe just minor adjustments being made to your technique. However all the time you will be skiing with more confidence, speed and importantly control! Thierry, Etienne, Ferdi, Jean-Luc, Walter and others look forward to welcoming you to their 'office'. Minibus transport included for whole day lessons. Specialist days can include: Heli Cremerie; add a little adredalin to your day with a helicopter transfer from the base slopes of Argentiere to the mid station, taking in magnificent scenery on the way. Then continue skiing with your mountain guide and take in the fabulous off- piste terrain of the Grands Montets.... Heli transfer from 215 per person. James Bond evening: Explore neighbouring Courmayeur for the day then stay over and take a skidoo to your restaurant of the evening. A typical farmhouse where the hosts serve typical dishes and the wine flows! Then sledge down by the light from your head torch! Ideal for groups! ....evenings activity from 155 per person During high season dates half-day availability will be limited.

The kind of course we can create for you depends on several factors; the ski level of your party, the areas in which you wish to improve and the 'tingle' factor! Do you want to ski amongst stunning glaciers taking the odd photo? or just have a trained professional take you to the best snow, no teaching thanks! We can organise any kind of course: beginner off-piste, avalanche and crevasse awareness or advanced ski touring for example.
One day Crevasse Rescue Course or One Day Avalanche Awareness The course teaches basic climbing techniques and general glacier safety. No prior climbing experience necessary. Aimed towards experienced skiers. Highly recommended, Specialist instruction. Prices from £54/80 based on 4 in a group SKI ODYSY with Regis Fleury Regis, another excellent and charming instructor, is an ex-race trainer who speaks impeccable English and offers you the chance to ski on a weeks basis. This specialist course offers 6 days of lessons, transportation, tuition, the works! The weekly itinerary includes skiing at all the main lift stations in the valley plus a day trip to Les Contamines and Courmayeur, or wherever the best snow can be found. What better way of seeing and skiing the whole of the Mont Blanc Region than this?
ESF French Ski School Various options, good for the single skier who would like to join a group. Beginner courses at Les Plannards in Chamonix are great for older children. For those who would like a taster lesson the lunchtime class from 12:00-14:00 is great value and about half price.
