Holiday Convenience
We try to make sure that your self - catered holiday is a pleasant and well organised as possible. Shortly after your arrival
our resort staff will meet you at the chalet and show you around your property.Your chalet manager will be on hand to advise and to book any lessons, guides, skipasses, Kindergarten if these haven't been booked in advance, and impart general resort knowledge. Your manager will phone you during your holiday to check all is well and can rendez-vous with you at your chalet if you require any other services during your holiday or to help with anything. Each property is equipped with a resort dossier and we leave a small welcome pack plus a bottle of Cremant or bubbly as our special welcome!
On your departure we ask you to please clean the chalet KITCHEN and strip the beds. That's
all! We will do the rest!
Part of our 'added service at no extra cost' includes the free service of pre-booking your snow equipment and ski passes. These are delivered to your chalet on or before your arrival leaving you free to make any minor changes direct with the ski shop. We take payment just before your arrival for your skipasses by Switch or Debit card but for the equipment, this is settled direct in resort with the shop in question when you return it on your last day. Lessons and Guiding are payable only by cash euros which your resort manager will collect, few Mountain guides have Credit Card facilities!
We have two self-catered options; Standard and Plus.
Standard Package
All our self-catered bookings include those variables to help your holiday run smoothly. We include:
- the chalet bills (heating, electricity, gas, water and local tax's)
- bed linen and hand towels for the bathrooms and loo's
- a quantity of logs, usually enough for the week
- a basic welcome pack (tea, coffee, biscuits, juice and bubbly!)
- free delivery of any snow equipment or ski passes booked through our office
- Final chalet clean except the kitchen and appliances
Your stay will start with a welcome visit by our representative and will end with a basic clean on your departure.
The standard package does not include large bath towels nor transport in or to the resort.
Plus Package
For those guests who may like a little bit more pampering we have created our Plus Package,
which combines the above standard services with the following extras:
- In-resort minibus service 6 days plus 3 evenings till midnight.
This is one 8 seater minibus per chalet. Double trips may be necessary.
- Chalet cleaning maid, 2 hrs on 3 days
- Shopping service, we'll deliver the first shop to your door, just email us your list
- Bath towels and bath products
We combine the Standard Package with and in-resort minibus service 6 days
of your holiday. This is a ski drop/collection to a ski area within the valley in one 8 seater minibus in the
morning and collection from that ski lift at 5pm. Your group will be able to
discuss the suitable timings with our driver. This includes on alternate evenings;
a drop into Chamonix town at 19:30 and a collection at 23:30. If your group is over 8 persons and you don't have any other form of
transport in the resort, we can offer double trips in some circumstances.
Chalet Cleaning And Care
We include the final chalet cleaning in the holiday price except for the
kitchen. You will need to clean this area yourself and include the fridge and
cooker. However please note, we do expect the chalets to be handed back in a tidy state, not as per the party the night
before!You may incur extra charges if you leave your chalet in a dreadful mess
and we go over the allotted cleaning time for a particular property and you will incur a £10 fee if you leave us your rubbish and bottles to dispose of!
For damage to chalets, such as cigarette burns, wine stains, damage to paintwork and broken crockery we make a sensible charge to cover damage incurred out of your breakages/bills deposit. This ensures the chalets remain in a well appointed state, ready for the next group to enjoy.
The 'chalet Deposit' - against breakages/extra cleaning
On arrival we take your Credit or Switch card details and debit £500. Same sex parties are subject to a £1000 debit. Please note that any
breakages/repairs/extra cleaning will be debited from this amount although these
instances are very rare as most departing guests leave their chalets tidy and in order!. Any bills will be emailed. Refunds are made
direct to your credit card on verification of your chalet approx 48hrs after
your departure.
Self-catered chalet Facilities
All of the chalets we operate have washing machines, tumble dryers, house
hair dryer, open-fire places/ wood burning stoves, good kitchen facilities, music systems,
TV and video or DVD players, and exterior private parking for at least 2 cars.
Some have local telephones. However, due to the mischievous nature of mechanical objects we are no longer able to guarantee the
working order of said objects but will do our best to make sure they are working
correctly during your holiday.
Long Term Rentals
Through our local contacts some of the chalets we have on our books can be rented on a longer basis, any duration from a month to a ski season so please contact our office for details.
