The Chamonix valley skipass options 07/08 Only skipasses of over 10 days require a photo. All passes are electronic hands free badges on which there is a refundable 3 cost for the actual badge. The UNLIMITED ski pass This is the best option for those staying for weekends or short breaks. This pass includes Les Houches and is in essence the "Chamski" pass with the Aiguille du Midi, top cable car at Les Grands Montets, and ONE day in Courmayeur included.
The MONT BLANC ski pass The BIG ONE - the best ski pass, we believe, for intermediate and above skiers visiting the valley for the week. Just GBP 21 more than the 'unlimited' skipass, this pass covers unrestricted access to all the lifts in the whole Chamonix valley, great as it includes Les Houches, (regularly the only ski resort open on bad weather and high avalanche risk days) and the satellite resorts of the Mont Blanc range; Megeve, Les Contamines, St Gervais and Courmayeur in Italy, plus the Aiguille du Midi (special off piste run) and the use of the Montenvers railway. Sold as a 5, 6 or 7 day pass.
The CHAMSKI ski pass This is a 1 - 13 day pass which covers you only for certain ski areas and for lifts between 1,000m to 2765m. A good option for weekend skiing however although this pass does not cover Les Houches (but you can upgrade at any time) You can ski 6 days out of 7 days on this pass.
Note. The CHAMSKI pass does NOT include Aiguille du Midi lift or the second stage cable-car in Argentiere, Les Grands Montets (superb off-piste areas best undertaken with a mountain guide) You can buy these tickets separately and in busy times these are timed to a certain bin departure. Suggestions for a Ski Weekend We recommend the Mont Blanc unlimited pass. Other Options Family Cham-ski and 'Unlimited' passes available which is a great option for 2 adults and 1 or more children. Pay for 2 adults and 50% of the adult rate and all family children included! There are further options for beginners, Pedestrians and OAPs so please discuss your requirements with your chalet staff.Les Houches also has a range of its own ski passes available offering particularly cheap and affordable FAMILY options. Please discuss your requirements with our resort host upon arrival or in advance with Gaby in the office.
Please note that Skipass prices are given in Euros. The Sterling equivalent is based on 0.70 to the £ and is given as a guide price only and may be subject to change at any time. For Skipasses purchased in resort or as part of a weekend break, exchange rates are calculated at the time of purchase and guaranteed to better the Thomas Cook Tourist rates of the day. |
