We spent 5 years renovating chalet Eco Farm, a real labour of love! With a myriad of Chamonix chalets to choose from Eco Farm offers you something special.... and original, the wonderful ambience of a 230yr old mountain farmhouse combined with modern, luxurious facilities, adored by all who stay.
We eschewed much of the modern building finishes and chose instead to up-cycled the weathered wooden panelling, show off the beams and to salvage as much as we could from the original building, to emphasise the farms rustic beginnings. Combining this with modern elements such as underfloor heating, large velux windows, deep Italian sofa's and open-plan kitchen and dining space gives the chalet a wonderful informality and makes it perfect for sharing with friends or family.
In the bedrooms; hotel standard superking (or twin) divan beds, crisp white bed linen, goose feather duvets and beautifully finished bathrooms using Italian limestone tiles give these rooms cosy vintage-appeal.
In an ideal location just a short 8-10 minute drive from Chamonix town and just 2 mins walk (200m) from the local Bellevue ski lifts in Les Houches everything you need is on your door step; a cablecar, local shops, some great restaurants and pistes!. You can ski or snowboard right down to road level and in 2 minutes be home in time for tea!
The main living room is double aspect with exposed beams, velux windows and double balcony doors. These let in lot's of light and offer alluring panoramic views of the valley and Les Houches pistes and forests.

Chalet Layout: 1st floor
Chalet Eco Farm comprises of the top two floors of the farmhouse with approx 210m2 of living space.
Bedrooms vary in size and decoration.
- Bedroom 1: Superking or twin 90x190 with cabin ensuite shower/wc
- Bedroom 2: Superking or twin 90x190 with ensuite bathroom with corner bath and wc
- Bedroom 3: Superking or twin 90x190 with adjacent bathroom with spa bath, overhead rose shower and wc
- Bedroom 4: Queensize double or twin 80x190 with small ensuite shower/wc
- Large dining table with seating for 10-12
- Entrance hall and laundry room
- Large balcony runs along the North aspect of the building
- Summer; side garden just for guests, BBQ, table & chairs, Ping pong.
2nd Floor mezzanine level
- Bedroom 5: Master bedroom in roof apex with Superking or twin 90x190 with ensuite bathroom with bath, double sinks, shower cabin and wc. Velux windows. A folding bed can be placed in this room to make it a triple.

- Please note chalet Eco Farm is located in the heart of Les Houches village ideally placed close to the local amenities, bus stop and skiing. By nature of this there are other chalets and buildings in close proximity plus the village road!
